Sound, Cognition and Performance in Motorsport
A recent Brief Research Report published in Frontiers in Physics explores how the sound of a racing engine can be interpreted as a behavioural signal of cognition, control and performance.
Developed in collaboration with GIOYA Higher Education Institution, ACI Sport and an international network of researchers, the study establishes a connection between motorsport, neuroscience and complex systems science, opening new perspectives in the analysis of human behaviour and high-performance environments.
This research reflects GIOYA’s commitment to advancing interdisciplinary knowledge and bridging academic insight with real-world application.
