There are 50 spots available to register on GIOYA Bachelor degree for highly qualified managers and entrepreneurs. All 50 enrollees can request the CIFAL UNITAR (UN) certification for the sustainability course.
Access to the double degree with the University of Turin is reserved for the FIRST 25 enrollees who meet the following criteria:
1 – Managers and entrepreneurs with proficiency in Italian and are residents abroad. 2 – Managers and entrepreneurs, regardless of their place of residence, who achieve (in the preliminary CV evaluation phase) at least 40% of the recognition of prior learning (compared to the entire degree course).
Those who do not meet these criteria or enroll after the first 25 will compete for the remaining 25 spots reserved for obtaining the Gioya Hei degree and the CIFAL UNITAR certification related to the sustainability course and integrated into the study program.
Why might a manager or entrepreneur be interested in the Bachelor's program at Gioya HEI?
The course allows the recognition of work experience (informal learning) up to a maximum of 50% of the Bachelor’s program (in line with the GIOYA’s RPL policy). The remaining part of the course consists of online lectures that complement the competences and the thesis project.
The course has been structured to be flexible (the attendance is not compulsory) and in line with the time constraints of our students. The professional enrolled is fully assisted by our coordinators and professors. At the end of the process of recognition of prior learning each of the students will have an ad hoc path of studies tailored to their interests and needs. Networking occasions among our selected students will be fostered online and in presence
Who are the enrolled students in the Bachelor's program?
This Bachelor is open to register to its fourth intake. Among its current students, there are professionals such as the CEO of Overmarine, the President of Tankoa Yachting Shipyards, the President of Leonardo Canada, a leader in Aerospace, Defense, and Security, as well as local administrators and executives from significant companies. Among the enrollees, there are those who aim to have their professional experience recognized by integrating it with valuable competences to obtain their first bachelor’s degree, as well as those who intend to enter a new, highly selective and dynamic context, possibly achieving a second bachelor’s degree and staying updated on various topics and connected with a growing international business community.

Apply for an informal Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in the program have the possibility to request GIOYA HEI the recognition of previous knowledge and skill the student has gained through formal learning (training, workshops, seminars, etc. ) and non – formal learning (workplace-related), allowing them to reduce the time of studying for the bachelor degree for up to 50% (from 3 years to 1year and half).
